Family Guy Action Figures are Hot, Hot, Hot

From the time the television show The Family Guy debuted in 1999, it was one of the quirkiest, funniest things on television - although it offended a few people with its offbeat humour.

Family Guy, like a cross between Archie Bunker and the Simpsons, was cancelled after three seasons, but by then Family Guy had built up a loyal following of fans. That helped the animated adventures of Peter Griffin and his family attain almost cult classic status via a subsequent DVD release, which has kept the interest in the show and its characters alive and well!

That status may become even more entrenched now that the Family Guy series is BACK on TV, and action figures are being released of all the show's characters.

The Family Guy bunch consists of husband Peter, wife Lois, son Chris, daughter Meg, talking baby Stewart, and Brian, the family's talking dog, and the action figures are 'hot off the press' this season!

Talking Stewie's built-in sound chip includes 13 sayings, all taken from various Family Guy episodes, and all very funny. Then there's the collectible of Peter and the giant chicken (from a now-famous episode of the show), a two-pack that consists of Peter and Lois, and a couple of different sets of the whole gang, in bendable figurines.
